Every woman’s dream(I think) is for her man to propose on one knee, put a ring into her finger and offer the world for our hand.

But for us it happened in a different way, or should I say a simpler way. 

October 2007, my mom and dad asks me on our plans (if we have one daw..haha =D) for our wedding.  I told them we have but we're still not sure with the date.  I told them we wanted December 2008, that's almost a year of planning.  But my dad insisted to have it on 2009 para we can still save for the wedding.  So I told them okay and I'll ask Forp about it.

Same day, forp and I were talking over the phone and I opened up the topic.  We had a hard time on the date because for me I think 2009 was way too long for us to wait.haha =D  So I asked JP(wedding coordinator) on when should be the perfect date for us to get married, he just told me that if we will be getting married by April the venue should be air conditioned kse super init sa Pinas ng month na yun.. So april was slashed out of the picture.  Talked to forp again, and I told him that we really should decide on the date.  Since his birthday was June and my long time dream was to be a June bride, then June it is.  For the exact date I just checked the Moon Calendar for the phases of the moon for that month.  My choices were June 6 and 27.  So we decided on the 27th.

Everything was settled, yung ring na lang.  Again we were talking over the phone, I told him I liked a ring that was with my mom.  He asked me the price, and he decided that we can have it for my engagement ring.

Forp:  Magkano ba yun?

Rox: Php _____ daw sabi ni mommy.

Forp: Gusto mo ba yun?

Rox: Yups, ang ganda nya and sakto lang ang size nung stone.

Forp: Sige, yun na lang. 

Rox: really?! Yey! Thanks.

That was it, no questions asked.haha =D  Since we were friends for almost 9 years and we're together for 3 years, wala na syang magagawa to surprise me or plan something para lumuhod sya at mag-propose. =D 

I know I'm so corny kse I knew that he was going to buy me a ring(I practically asked him na nga), I even knew the price of the ring and I will not pretend that I wouldn't love to receive a ring that has 4 C's with matching "will you marry me" words.  But knowing that it was from him is reason enough for me to be the happiest bride-to-be..

The Ring(taken with his new 400D, which I gave him as a surprise gift for our anniv.  And believe me it was a suprise for him. haha =D)
